As I began researching how to proceed as an aspiring writer, one piece of advice I found from at least a couple different sources was to attend a writer’s workshop.  Subsequently, I found a really cool book from our local library: Fiction Writer’s workshop: The Key Elements of a Writing Workshop, 2nd Edition by Josip Novakovich.  This is just what I was looking for as a home-body, a way to work on my writing without ever needing to leave the house!  I plan to have a couple upcoming posts with some of my completed exercises from the book.  Though I’ve just started going through the book, I do recommend it!  It seems to have some great advice, is easy to read, and has a lot of exercises to work on writing.
